Screen printing is a technique that involves creating a woven mesh stencil (printers call this a “screen”). The specialized screen has both open and closed areas of mesh. A squeegee is moved across the screen, forcing colorful ink through the open areas of the screen. Each color is applied using a different screen, one at a time, combined to achieve the final look on such items as clothing, towels, and bags. The final product is then cured in a high temperature dryer.

Our printing operation is capable of spot prints of 1 to 6 colors, 4-color process and simulated process prints. Who knew screen printing could actually be interesting!
